For this e-portfolio assignment, we were asked to upload our favorite paper from the semester. I had a difficult time choosing my favorite, but I finally decided the the profile was one of my favorites. I loved writing this because I chose one of the most interesting people I know, my sister.
This assignment was given later in the semester, so I was able to apply a lot of the writing skills I learned in this class. I also enjoyed using creative devices to (hopefully) make this piece as interesting as my sister herself.
Even though I live with her, I learned a lot about my sister that I didn't know before interviewing her for this paper. A lot of things she does are things I've never really thought about before. I always just thought, "Oh, she's just a teenager who likes to draw pictures to get attention." But that is definitely not the truth. I've learned that you can't judge someone's motives, even if you know them very well. My sister works very hard and I will be a lot more nonjudgmental towards everyone in the future.
